Make your way around Rottnest's pristine sandy white beaches before re-fuelling at one of the many cafes, restaurants, shops and bakeries dotted along the island.
Rotto, as the locals call it, is also very popular with surfers and body boards chasing the waves, as it boasts some of the best conditions in Western Australia.
Once used as an Aboriginal prison, Rottnest Island has a fascinating history and you will find many early colonial buildings and underground tunnels to explore.
